Funeral service for 103 dead soldiers who fought in Russia

American involvement in the Russian Civil War was limited; however, our troops did suffer casualties.  The United States sent three regiments to Northern Russia, to the Russian ports of Murmansk and Archangel, and one division, some 8,500 men, to Vladivostok on the Sea of Japan.  These soldiers actively assisted the anti-Bolshevik forces.
